 The Royal Ghassanid Order of Arts and Sciences

The medal bears the effigy of HRH Prince Sheikh Nassif El Chemor (1945-2017). The prince was chosen because of his altruism. Sheikh Nassif served as mayor of Kferhata (Lebanon) and was a well-known and awarded writer and researcher. He helped hundreds of people by giving thousands of his books and documents to several university students and the community. 

Recipients have somehow contributed to the House and/or the world in the Arts and Sciences.
